Financial sustainability

Each one of Operation ASHA treatment’s centers (serving over 80 patients) becomes self-sustaining 2 years after opening, thanks to a government of India program.

Running each center costs Operation ASHA $2,300 for the first two years. The government of India awards $25 for every successfully treated patient 2 years after treatment. This government grant is used to maintain the centers in the following years.
